Instead of investing my time & money into games, I add incentives for people to book a party. Anyone who books a party gets 35% - 50% off any item if they pick one of my preferred dates. And as soon as I have sample bottles, they will also receive a gift bucket with samples of odor eliminator, laundry soap, descaler, or anything else I can divide into the bottles.
If you have ever attended a home party, in most cases you have played a game where the winner gets a prize. My issue with the game is that it takes up precious time that could be used to answer peoples' questions. My presentation, without questions, is about 30 minutes. But there are ALWAYS questions and the presentation turns into about an hour, without playing a game. It's not a boring hour, it's a conversation. But to ask people to sit for any longer than that, even if it is interesting, is asking a lot, in my opinion.

Invite people over for a Sandals & Sangria party or an Ice Cream Social while also educating them about how to reduce the use of chemicals in their cleaning and personal care. Pick your theme or make one up and I'll help you put it together! We'll have lots of fun but keep it simple! Plus earn a free mop if you host in July!
You won't believe that we have an HP Deskjet 960 that has been faithful for over 10 years. It still prints just fine, slow, but fine :) There have been too many occasions recently where a scanner/copier would be very convenient, so we decided to break down and buy a new printer. If you know me, you know I research everything before I buy it. And surprisingly it didn't take long to find a reasonably priced all-in-one printer with rave reviews. We bought the Brother MFC-J410W at Office Max for $70! The ink is $56 for all four colors, but you only replace the color that is low, instead of the whole thing at once. I haven't used it much yet, so I'll let you know the quality of the print/scan/copy/fax later.
Norwex has a great product manual that they sent to me when I signed up to sell Norwex. The problem is that they only send it on a CD, so I don't have a manual to bring to parties and use to answer questions. The local print shops charges almost $50 to get the manual printed and bound. So I started doing some searching online and found Moxicopy.
I don't know the quality, but they claim to have some pretty big clients, including Kraft Foods, AT&T, Boy & Girl Scouts and St. Jude's Children's hospital, just to name a few. So I'm going to assume the quality is good. And for $10 (before shipping) I can get the product manual printed and bound! It will be spiral bound with a clear plastic cover and a black plastic back! So if you own a business or are ever looking for a cheap place to get something printed, check out moxicopy.com. I'll let you know if I like the results or not. I am doing a party in June and the hostess is my good friend Jenny, who grew up down the road from me in Wisconsin. We now live down the road from each other in Minnesota and do our best to represent the state next door. June is dairy month and Jenny wants to have a dairy themed party, complete with Spotted Cow Farmhouse Ale and real Wisconsin cheese. To help instill the theme with the guests, I created the invite above to email to her guests.
I want your Norwex party with me to be a blast, like any other time you invite a bunch of friends into your home. If that means creating a theme to center the party around, I'll do everything I can to help accomplish that. We all want your guests to feel comfortable and I think this is a great way to let them know right off the bat that this is more than just a Norwex party, it's time to have a good time! One thing I have learned through "stretching myself too thin" in the past, is to take control of my schedule. I want to be in control of my business, not vice versa. So I have blocked out the following dates to hold parties and I am including incentives. The sooner you book a party, the more you save! Email me to schedule a party.
Also, ask me about themed party ideas including Fritos & Flip-Flops, Sandals & Sangria, Spa Party, Wine & Cheese, Mexican Fiesta and Ice Cream Social. And remember, all of this is on top of the already outstanding 4-Star Hosting Plan that Norwex offers. Receive 15% off any one item when you book on one of these dates*: August 1 & 5 Other open dates: August 10, 16, 22, & 25 September 1, 6, 9, 15, 21, 26 *All party locations must be within one hour drive time of Fridley, MN |
